Training program English Language Department(Industry code: 7220201) is one of four training programs that meet international standards AUN-QA – Quality Assurance Network of the ASEAN university system.

English language department is a language research major that helps learners use English fluently in the fields of culture, society, business, commerce, finance, tourism, diplomacy, and international relations. As an international language, English brings many opportunities for young people who want to work in different environments from foreign language pedagogy, translation – interpretation, marketing, foreign economics, banking, tourism and integration with foreign businesses.

Tel goal

  • Equipping language knowledge such as phonetics, vocabulary, grammar, style, culture and civilization of English-speaking countries ensures the natural use of the target language to accurately express the meaning of the source language, and at the same time helps to acquire in-depth knowledge about the art of teaching English, translation and interpretation, and business English so that students have a solid future career orientation;
  • Providing knowledge about communication skills, presentation skills, teamwork, analysis and quick problem solving to help work effectively in the professional field; Train effective learning skills to improve knowledge and ability to practice language, form thinking and scientific research capacity on language, culture or culture – civilization issues of countries in the English community.

Industry highlights

  • The training program meets AUN-QA regional quality accreditation standards;
  • Lecturers are trained abroad from England, Australia, America, New Zealand, etc. have professional qualifications and practical experience with a team of native lecturers from English-speaking countries participating in the training process;
  • Students can choose one of three majors: (i) Business English; (ii) Translator – Interpreter; and (iii) English teaching methods to participate in the internationally integrated labor market.
  • Learn and practice skills, accumulate knowledge in smart foreign language classrooms (Smartclass rooms) according to international standards and practice at businesses, companies, schools, press agencies, and diplomatic agencies from central to local levels.

  • Translator-Interpreter: at Departments of Foreign Affairs, joint venture companies, foreign enterprises, diplomatic agencies, economic organizations, media agencies, governmental/non-governmental organizations, multinational corporations; 
  • Communications specialist: Event organizer, PR staff, assistant or secretary at joint venture companies, foreign companies;
  • Assistant/secretary, import-export officer:assistant director, secretary, officer in charge of foreign affairs, cooperation, business…;
  • Tour guide/ Receptionist/ office staff at restaurants, hotels, resorts, marketing for economic, cultural, social, tourism projects…;
