STUDY TRIP TO YAKULT FACTORY: DISCOVERING JAPANESE BUSINESS MODEL WITH JAPANESE STUDENTS STUDYING AT NTTU

Sáng ngày 10/7/2025, tập thể sinh viên chuyên ngành Nhật Bản học cùng các giảng viên Bộ môn, Khoa Ngoại ngữ – Trường Đại học Nguyễn Tất Thành đã có chuyến học tập thực tế tại nhà máy Yakult Việt Nam (Khu Công nghiệp Việt Nam – Singapore, phường Thuận An, TP. Hồ Chí Minh).

On the morning of July 10, 2025, a group of students majoring in Japanese Studies and lecturers from the Department of Foreign Languages – Nguyen Tat Thanh University had a field trip to the Yakult Vietnam factory (Vietnam – Singapore Industrial Park, Thuan An Ward, Ho Chi Minh City).

Chuyến đi nằm trong chuỗi hoạt động học đi đôi với hành, giúp sinh viên tiếp cận với văn hóa doanh nghiệp Nhật Bản ngay tại Việt Nam. Đây không chỉ là cơ hội để các bạn tận mắt chứng kiến quy trình sản xuất hiện đại, mà còn là dịp để hiểu rõ triết lý kinh doanh “vì sức khỏe cộng đồng” mà Yakult luôn kiên định theo đuổi.

The trip is part of a series of activities combining learning with practice, helping students approach Japanese corporate culture right in Vietnam. This is not only an opportunity for students to witness the modern production process, but also an opportunity to understand the business philosophy of “for community health” that Yakult always steadfastly pursues.

Tại nhà máy, sinh viên được đội ngũ nhân viên Yakult hướng dẫn tham quan dây chuyền sản xuất sữa uống lên men, tìm hiểu về hành trình phát triển thương hiệu Yakult, và đặc biệt là câu chuyện truyền cảm hứng về bác sĩ Minoru Shirota, người đã phát minh ra chủng lợi khuẩn Shirota nổi tiếng.

At the factory, students were guided by Yakult staff to visit the fermented milk production line, learn about the development journey of the Yakult brand, and especially the inspiring story of Dr. Minoru Shirota, who invented the famous Shirota probiotic strain.

Phần giao lưu giữa sinh viên và đại diện nhà máy đã diễn ra sôi nổi với nhiều câu hỏi thú vị xoay quanh môi trường làm việc trong doanh nghiệp Nhật, định hướng phát triển sự nghiệp và bí quyết duy trì chất lượng sản phẩm trong suốt hơn 80 năm.

The exchange between students and factory representatives took place enthusiastically with many interesting questions revolving around the working environment in Japanese enterprises, career development orientation and the secret to maintaining product quality for over 80 years.

“Không chỉ học được kiến thức, em còn cảm nhận được văn hóa tôn trọng con người trong doanh nghiệp Nhật. Các cô chú nhân viên Yakult rất nhiệt tình và thân thiện. Em thấy tự hào khi là sinh viên Nhật Bản học NTTU được trải nghiệm thực tế như thế này.” – Trần Quốc Vũ, sinh viên năm 3.

“Not only did I learn knowledge, I also felt the culture of respecting people in Japanese enterprises. Yakult staff are very enthusiastic and friendly. I feel proud to be a Japanese student studying at NTTU and having this kind of practical experience.” – Tran Quoc Vu, 3rd year student.

“Chuyến đi là cơ hội quý giá giúp em tiếp xúc thực tế với môi trường làm việc chuẩn Nhật. Em rất ấn tượng với tinh thần kỷ luật, sự ngăn nắp và chuyên nghiệp của nhà máy Yakult. Sau chuyến đi, em càng có thêm động lực học tiếng Nhật thật tốt để làm việc trong các công ty Nhật trong tương lai.” – Dương Ngọc Minh Thư, sinh viên năm 2 Nhật Bản học.

“The trip was a valuable opportunity for me to gain practical experience in a standard Japanese working environment. I was very impressed with the discipline, orderliness and professionalism of the Yakult factory. After the trip, I was even more motivated to study Japanese well to work in Japanese companies in the future.” – Duong Ngoc Minh Thu, 2nd year student studying Japanese.

“Em rất thích phần giới thiệu về bác sĩ Shirota – người sáng lập Yakult. Câu chuyện của ông truyền cảm hứng cho em về việc dùng kiến thức để phục vụ cộng đồng. Đây là điều mà em muốn theo đuổi trong tương lai.” – Trần Thị Thuyết Nghi, sinh viên năm nhất.

“I really enjoyed the introduction about Dr. Shirota – the founder of Yakult. His story inspired me to use my knowledge to serve the community. This is what I want to pursue in the future.” – Tran Thi Thuyet Nghi, first-year student.

Thông qua chuyến đi này, sinh viên không chỉ được mở rộng hiểu biết chuyên ngành mà còn rèn luyện kỹ năng giao tiếp, tác phong làm việc và tư duy hội nhập – những yếu tố quan trọng trong hành trang nghề nghiệp.

Through this trip, students not only broaden their professional knowledge but also practice communication skills, working style and integration thinking – important factors in their career preparation.

Chuyến đi đã kết thúc thành công, để lại nhiều ấn tượng và động lực tích cực cho cả sinh viên và giảng viên.

The trip ended successfully, leaving many positive impressions and motivations for both students and lecturers.

Trong thời gian tới, Khoa Ngoại ngữ – Trường Đại học Nguyễn Tất Thành sẽ tiếp tục đẩy mạnh các hoạt động học tập thực tế, kết nối với doanh nghiệp và tạo điều kiện để sinh viên phát triển toàn diện.

In the coming time, the Faculty of Foreign Languages – Nguyen Tat Thanh University will continue to promote practical learning activities, connect with businesses and create conditions for students to develop comprehensively.
